Chief Executive Officer
For 40 years Kurt Grimm has been involved in the machining industry. He is the founder and CEO of KWG Industries and President and CEO of Rand Machine Products. For two decades, KWG Industries has provided precision contract machining services and distribution of specialty metals nationwide, serving the aerospace, medical, military, hi-tech and industrial industries. Under Kurt’s leadership Rand is positioned to be a leader in the Custom/Build-to-Print manufacturing services for the industries we serve through the utilization of strong business practices as well as implementation of cutting edge machining technologies.
Director of Operations
Bob started at Rand in 1992 after serving in the Air Force for 8-years. He worked on the production floor until 2008 when he transitioned into the Quality Department. In 2018 Bob was promoted to the Director of Operations where he manages the daily operations, identifying areas in which Rand can improve operations, monitors revenue margins and oversees employee productivity. Bob ensures that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing our procedures and coaching our employees.
Program Director & Technical Sales
Jason brings to Rand 20+ years in design and process engineering, he is well versed in the practical applications in the Science of Manufacturing as well as the culture of manufacturing and what is takes to make and sustain positive change in an organization. He has been with Rand since 2005 where he has been in Technical Sales and Business Development in the build-to-print, custom manufacturing, with a strong focus in the defense, gas & oil and rail industries.
Director of Finance
Greg joined Rand Machine in 2016 as CFO, utilizing his skills in sourcing acquisitions and guiding corporate restructurings of manufacturing businesses. Greg has extensive experience with businesses in the defense manufacturing, construction, as well as retail sectors.
Materials & Logistics Manager
Rachael has been with Rand for 8 years and up until recently working in the Quality Department. In 2018 she was promoted to the Materials & Logistics Manager where she is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of product, beginning with the acquisition of raw material and continuing through the delivery of the finished goods to our customers.
Director of Engineering
Chad has been with Rand for 27 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge. He has experience in tool and die design, CNC Mills, lathes and wire EDM’s. For 15+ years his focus was on hot form stamping up to ¾” thick steels, prototype CNC Machining and custom machine designs. As the Director of Engineering he plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities and projects within our organization. He ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Chad provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives and incorporates components, materials, and tools resulting in cost-effective and quality output.
