Dan McKenrick
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dan is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Aerospace engineering. He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers for six years. He is a registered Professional Engineer. Following Dan’s completion of his time serving our Nation, he began working in the Defense area, specifically in various manufacturing fields.
Dan’s experience in the defense area is extensive. His background includes nine years with General Dynamics and seven years with the Chemring Group. During his time at General Dynamics, Dan held various positions leading ammunition and weapon system manufacturing in California and Pennsylvania. He was then promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Tactical Air Munitions in Texas. At Chemring, Dan held the title of President and CEO. In these positions, Dan has maintained responsibility at the most senior levels, including profit and loss accountability, operational control and efficiency, oversight and management of all personnel, acquisitions of complementary businesses and the successful integration of same, developing growth strategies and new business development, and building highly motivated, solid teams.
John J. Fleitz
Senior Vice President Business Development
John brings over 25 years of experience in the defense industry to the Rand Team. He has led domestic and international sales and marketing departments at Chemring North America, Day & Zimmermann Munitions Group, Texas & Kansas, and United Tactical Systems, Illinois. He has extensive experience in the infrared aircraft countermeasure, non-lethal weapon systems and ammunition markets, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware, Lerner School of Business and Economics.
Dave Malone
Director of Manufacturing
Dave brings to Rand over 25 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. As the Director of Engineering and Manufacturing he is responsible for direction and management of the engineering and manufacturing teams and all the associated project activities here are Rand. He provides technical guidance and oversees the engineering team in design, development, and production launch, ensuring sound engineering procedures, effective use of facilities and maintaining organizational/industry standards.
Dan Barnes
Chief Financial Officer
Dan holds Bachelor of Science, Accountancy and MBA, Finance degrees from Wright State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Accountancy Board of Ohio. Dan is an accomplished leader with over 25 years’ experience in a variety of finance roles. Having a seasoned finance leader like Dan Barnes on board has been a significant addition to our leadership team. Dan brings a wealth of experience and expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and business performance optimization.
